TREND REPORT CREATION

as the global lead of industry partner marketing for the advertising and marketing industry at AWS, i led a collaboration with TrendHunter to create industry specific content creation for the Advertising and Marketing Technology industry for the announcement of identity resolution capabilities within AWS Clean Rooms and the launch of Amazon Bedrock, the new generative AI capabilities AWS launched in 2023, along with highlighting other industry technology trends. 

i led cross-functionally a global program educating external agency partners on measurement. with stops in NYC, LA, SF, Chicago, London, and Paris, i served as a subject-matter-expert and global program lead, i developed and designed booth experiences, speaking sessions, and collateral to promote the solution offerings and benefits or partners in the program which included advertising auction fundamentals and guidance on experimental design and attribution measurement solutions. the expos also scaled to APAC regions the following year. the events were praised by attendees.

FACEBOOK MARKETING SCIENCE GLOBAL AGENCY PROGRAM -
EXPO BOOTH DESIGN + CONTENT PLANNING

i designed and executed an industry digital campaign, awareness activities, promotional events, approval of partner press releases leading up to the industry launch and for new product launches, specifically support privacy-enhanced data collaboration products such as AWS Clean Rooms and Entity Resolution resulting in increased brand exposure and partnerships for AWS. AWS Partner Marketing leadership recognized my efforts with an award. the industry launch involved approval of 115+ individual partner press releases and 80+ unique customer references.

as a marketing science expert in service of advertising agencies and their end advertisers, i created a bespoke test design using custom variables passed through upon purchase on the conversion tracking in order to distinguish between net new customers versus repeat customers so this UK retailer, Marks and Spencer, could better distinguish and calculate their return on investment in a way that matched the context of their business needs. this test design i created was used in this case study but also replicated as a test design template standardized and shipped globally.

i played a critical part in understanding and aligning with customers' overall marketing goals, covering both digital and offline touchpoints, and facilitated the successful implementation and ongoing support of Adometry Attribute, a proprietary SaaS solution. i owned data collection, validation, and documenting implementation requirements for new and existing customers, as well as resolving issues related to data collection and reconciliation of digital advertising event-level data. i collaborated with research and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely communication of project requirements. i analyzed customer goals and KPIs, provided customer training on the user interface, and presented insight reports with campaign media mix optimization recommendations. my insight from my time as a media planner/buyer influenced product design as i helped our product team understand media placements.

in my roles as a digital media planner/strategist at various advertising agencies in TX and CA, i developed, presented, implemented, and managed multi-media plans, focusing on research, customer insights, media buying, and reporting on clients’ return on investment. i worked at agencies in Huntington Beach, Solana Beach, Austin, and Dallas, managing a diverse range of accounts. i negotiated media buys, managed make-goods, and optimized and revised plans. i ensured effective client communication and created performance reporting. i specialized in digital media planning and developed agency education on emerging digital media trends. one of these agencies specialized in multi-cultural audiences serving the US hispanic population with  culturally relevant bilingual messaging. another agency was immersed in the sport and culture of golf to best service their client and their target market's core business.

FACEBOOK MARKETING SCIENCE EXPERT DESIGNING TEST METHODOLOGIES TO IMPROVE ADVERTISING AGENCY MEASUREMENT

i am currently serving as a program manager on the monetization product testing team working on alpha and beta tests on new products - testing new ad unit functionality for the Facebook family of apps and services (Facebook, Messenger, and Instagram, specifically). As a cross-functional lead, I help our product marketing manager, product managers, engineers, and sales teams to work with our top advertisers to recruit, onboard, test, measure, and understand early results of new advertising types and features before they are released as products and scaled to all. Mark Zuckerberg mentioned the specific alpha test type that I'm leading during the 7/31/24 earnings call.

This innovative program, tailored for seasoned executives and entrepreneurs, integrates design thinking with business and leadership training, focusing on innovative approaches to global business challenges. The curriculum includes six seven-week courses, starting with in-person seminars in Paris, followed by online engagement and two immersive studio experiences in New York City and Asia. I am growing my skillsets with formal training  to enhance my future ability to lead and drive change forward in the tech industry.
